Death Toll from Israeli Aggression on Lebanon Rises

Beirut: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon since March 2 has climbed to 4,333, while the number of injured has reached 12,250, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.

The Ministry's Health Emergency Operations Center said in a statement that the cumulative toll from the conflict now stands at 4,333 fatalities and 12,250 wounded, underscoring the continuing humanitarian impact of the hostilities.

Earlier on Saturday, five Lebanese soldiers were injured after a suspicious object exploded in southern Lebanon, adding to the security challenges facing the country.

The latest figures come despite a US-sponsored framework agreement signed by Lebanon and Israel, which includes provisions for security arrangements, the redeployment of the Lebanese Army in southern Lebanon, reconstruction of affected areas, economic recovery efforts, and the establishment of direct communication channels between the two sides.

The humanitarian situation remains a major concern as casualties continue to rise, with Lebanese health authorities closely monitoring developments and providing emergency medical support to those affected by the conflict.
